I believe there's only a hair's breadth between what we call 'radiant' and 'greasy'. How well a glowing complexion suits someone varies from person to person. Personally, I feel that when too much of the skin appears luminous, it starts to look oily. That's why I've found myself frequently reaching for a powder that I use as a highlighter. It's the Espoir Pro Tailor Be Glow Sheer Powder. As the name suggests, it's actually marketed as a powder, not a highlighter. But I've found it to be an excellent highlighter for those of us who don't suit an overly radiant look, which is why I wanted to introduce it to you. It's described as a transparent, natural glow powder, but in my experience, it doesn't look particularly natural or transparent when used all over the face as a regular powder. I thought it might be too much as a powder, so I tried it as a highlighter and wow - it was amazing. The color payoff on the skin is more natural than what you see in the pan or swatched on your hand. It creates such a natural glow on my shade 23 skin. I highly recommend this pearl powder to anyone who finds traditional highlighters overwhelming due to their shimmer particles, or who dislikes the stickiness of dewy stick highlighters. I suggest giving it a try as a highlighter, just like I did! It doesn't look pretty when used all over the face as a powder. Although it's marketed as a powder, it looks best when used as a natural highlighter.
