I've tried a couple other Goodal sunscreens, but this one's my favorite. It's wonderfully hydrating and creates a perfect base for makeup, helping it adhere beautifully. I didn't have any major issues, but I only realized from reading comments below that you're supposed to shake it before use... I'm almost finished with the bottle and had no idea! Checking the product now, I see it does say to shake well in tiny print. I really wish they'd make important instructions like this more noticeable. It's incredibly moisturizing and absorbs quickly, making it perfect to apply before makeup. It also helps cool down facial heat, which is great for hot days. When you use this product, your makeup applies more smoothly and lasts longer. It seems to properly fill your skin with hydration, which definitely improves longevity, and there's no excess oiliness. The lack of rich feeling means that during summer, you'll notice less oil coming through your makeup. The volume is too small. It would be really nice if it came in a larger size.

Interestingly, I had noted that it felt cool on the first day of use, but I didn't notice the cooling effect on other days. Apparently, due to the capsules, you're supposed to shake it before use. It has a serum-like texture that's quite fluid, incredibly smooth, and leaves a very hydrating finish. This is an organic UV filter sunscreen that doesn't cause eye irritation or leave a white cast. Not once did I feel dry while using it, and it works amazingly well under makeup. I'm really enjoying it as my go-to 'makeup-friendly' sunscreen these days. I appreciated that it's not a sunscreen that dries matte or powdery, and it leaves a bit of moisture on the skin, which I think prevented any dryness. I've had issues with Goodal's Vitamin line, Black Carrot line, and all their other sunscreens - they either caused blemishes, tiny bumps, or were too drying for me to use. However, Goodal's Houttuynia Cordata line is so gentle and I'm using all the products without any irritation or blemishes. I think I can recommend it for all skin types. This product seems perfect for sensitive, dry skin types like mine during seasonal changes and summer, while those with oily skin might find it suitable year-round. Highly recommended! So far, I haven't found anything disappointing about using this product.

It's a sun serum, so it applies with an incredibly hydrating feel. True to its name, the serum texture is lightweight and smooth, without any of that suffocating sensation typical of sunscreens. Plus, it's fragrance-free, so there's no bothersome smell. Not only does it provide UV protection, but it also includes brightening and anti-wrinkle benefits. It's perfect for generous daily application. I used to apply a hydrating base after sunscreen because my skin would get dry, but with this, there's no need. It's wonderfully moisturizing and absorbs without any stickiness. I'm thoroughly satisfied! There weren't any downsides for me, but if you're looking for a product with brightening moisturizer effects, you might want to try something else. This product doesn't have that feature. Remember to shake the product well before use. Also, I recently learned that regular foam cleansers don't completely remove sunscreen. On days when you use sunscreen, make sure to double cleanse thoroughly to remove it properly. 
so**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2025This might be the most legendary lightweight and hydrating sunscreen I've ever tried It's quite runny and leaves a slight sheen, so unless you have extremely dry skin, you might find it a bit rich!
