I really appreciated how this semi-matte cushion seemed to work hard to minimize its potential drawbacks! The darkening effect wasn't too severe either. I have combination dehydrated skin, with only my T-zone and butterfly zone being oily. Unfortunately, after using this cushion, I noticed some texture developing in the dehydrated areas... And as time passed, it slightly emphasized dead skin cells too. The coverage is medium to high, and it's especially amazing at concealing pores. The adherence and lasting power are truly incredible... I have combination to dehydrated skin, and even though this is a matte cushion, its silky texture keeps my skin from feeling dry all day. It stays put without any patchiness or flaking, and surprisingly, there's no darkening either. Thanks to the silky formula, my skin looks fantastic - it gives that flawless, "peeled egg" look. I found the color a bit disappointing... Even though it's shade 21, it feels more like 22-23, and the tone isn't bright but rather dull, which is why I deducted one star. However, apart from the color, everything else is great! The built-in puff is a real game-changer... The formula has a silky, matte to semi-matte finish, so if you pat it on with the included puff and then gently tap, it truly covers all your pores!
