With winter dryness causing my skin to look flaky, I've been drawn to that gorgeous glowy skin look lately. That's why I decided to give this product a try! 📍Pigmentation and Texture This was my first time using a stick multi-balm, and I've been loving it since I bought it last winter! It feels like a lightweight, oversized lip balm. The texture isn't too heavy, so it doesn't cause my base makeup to pill. On days when my skin is particularly dry and my makeup looks patchy, I dab a bit of this on those areas and reapply my cushion foundation - it works wonders! 📍Staying Power While it doesn't last all day, I found a great trick: when I touch up my makeup in the evening after applying it in the morning, I reapply this balm and it brings back that initial glow! The product isn't too big - it fits perfectly in your hand. If you're keen on maintaining that glass skin glow throughout the day, just pop it in your makeup bag for touch-ups. 📍How to Use I noticed that applying powder before this balm caused pilling, so I skip powder on the areas where I plan to use this. I don't need shine on my forehead, so I use powder there to control oil. For areas I want to highlight, like my cheekbones and nose tip, I apply this balm first. Then, I use a soft, wide brush to apply a finely-milled highlighter on top. The result is that Instagram-worthy glow that I love! Applying it under my aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) before adding shimmer really helps the sparkle last longer too. I even use it on my lips after lipstick and around the edges of my mouth - it adds moisture and helps hide any dead skin cells. It's so versatile! In winter, the cold temperatures make the balm a bit stiff, so you need to warm it up with your fingers before use, which can be a bit of a hassle. I haven't used it much in summer, so I'm not sure, but being a balm, I worry it might melt too easily. However, for those like me who don't use much highlighter in summer due to sweat, it probably won't be an issue. Instead of applying the stick directly to your face, I recommend warming the surface of the balm with your fingers first. Hince is love! Their products are the ones I've been dying to try. The only downside? It's a bit pricey. But honestly, I can understand why. Hince has captured my heart! I've been eagerly waiting to get my hands on their products. While the price tag might be a tad high, it's completely justified given the quality. The glow is insane! It makes my skin look absolutely gorgeous. I'm planning to try a different one next time. It tends to pill a bit when applied over foundation. As someone with extremely dry skin, I never thought I could achieve that dewy, radiant complexion... No matter how much I moisturized, the moment I applied foundation or cushion, my skin would instantly dry out. That's just the reality of having super dry skin... The Hince True Dimension Radiance balm!!!! These days, I look forward to doing my makeup just so I can use this. I'm a Warm Autumn, so I initially planned to get the Light shade. But after testing it in-store, Light had a subtle golden highlight effect, while Clear gave a truly transparent radiance. Since I wanted a clean, colorless glow, I went with Clear! The size is perfect - bigger than a lip balm but smaller than the Gahee. The sleek design is beautiful too. As soon as I opened the cap, I was stunned... The luminous sheen... The hydration was so intense, it looked like water would drip out! Even just swatching it on my hand, the glow was unreal... It's so gorgeous. The radiance actually intensifies over time after application. Next time, I want to try one of the blush shades too! Since Clear is transparent, you can layer it over any blush you already own. Just this one product kept my skin looking dewy for so long...!!! Most importantly, it made my complexion look more vibrant and healthy... On no-makeup days, I just apply sunscreen and this balm... Wow... It's just so pretty. The perfect "bare skin" makeup look... My skin is so dry that powder highlighters always look patchy and heavy on me. I thought a radiant glow was impossible for my skin type. But this has become my holy grail product! Please never discontinue it... No downsides yet! It does add an extra step to my routine, but it's worth it for how pretty it makes my skin look. After applying your base makeup, rub a bit of the balm between your fingers and gently pat it onto your face. So simple... For a more intense effect, you can apply it directly from the stick. It's absolutely stunning... It gives a beautiful dewy glow. On days when I wear this, people say my skin is radiant. It applies so naturally. I like to warm it up in my hands and then gently pat it onto my face. I think it looks especially beautiful in winter. If you love a natural, glassy glow, I highly recommend this. For me, it caused my base makeup to come off... I'm still not sure how to prevent this from happening. It looks fine right after application, but after a few hours, the base makeup peels off where I applied this product. It does give that dewy look, so hair tends to stick to it. I absolutely adore this product and can't recommend it enough! If you're into that glowy skin look and love inner glow blushers, this is a must-buy. It gives you that beautiful, dewy 'Vaseline-like' sheen that makes your skin look amazing. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but it's totally worth every penny. The glow lasts incredibly long if you don't touch up your cushion foundation, though retouching might dim the radiance a bit. The only downside is the price - it's a bit steep. The glow is insane and the way it flows is so beautiful. When applied as a highlighter on the nose, it looks incredibly natural. Although the staying power is a bit lacking, its beauty makes up for it. Instead of rubbing, gently pat it on for better application. Melting it on the back of your hand and gently patting it onto your cheeks with your fingers gives a beautiful glow without disturbing your base makeup. The staying power isn't bad either. Rather than applying it over powder blush, it looks prettier when customized as a liquid blush by mixing it with your lip and cheek tint. Unlike multi-balms, it's not heavy and I love how it just adds a light glow. There weren't any particular downsides, but due to its texture, it's not completely free from disturbing your base makeup. However, this seems unavoidable, so you'll need to accept it when applying.
