Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinJul 10, 2017This foundation has a creamy texture. You can apply it all over your face with a damp Olive Young sponge using just a small amount. Since it's a matte foundation, many people worry it might be too thick or drying, but it's actually lighter than Etude's Double Lasting foundation. I applied Innisfree Blueberry Skin, Mamonde Cream, and Etude Hydra Mebe, and didn't feel any dryness for 11 hours straight. Even though I have oily skin, I think those with dry skin could use this comfortably with a solid skincare routine. The coverage is good enough that you might not need concealer, though it's not quite concealer-level. As for longevity? It simply doesn't budge. An added bonus is the packaging, which I love, and the ingredients are the best I've seen in any foundation I know. Being a foreign brand, there are about 30 shades available at Sephora! The scent is slightly disappointing. It's not a bad smell, but it's not particularly pleasant either. Fortunately, it disappears quickly after application. Also, there's a tiny bit of darkening, maybe 0.2 or 0.3 shades, but it's hardly noticeable. Apply with a damp sponge for a thin layer. Don't even bother with a brush. Not only does it have amazing staying power, but I think its coverage is the best among all the foundations I've ever used. I'm seriously impressed! The texture is a bit thick when you apply it, so I wouldn't really recommend it for those with very dry skin. I guess this thick consistency is probably what gives it such great coverage though.
