This foundation has a wonderfully fluid, water-like texture. When applied with a foundation brush using sweeping motions, it spreads incredibly thinly, adhering to the skin while providing coverage and setting to a matte finish. I'm really impressed with this formulation! I wish there was a wider range of shades available. You need to shake it well before use to mix the formula. Holy grail foundation! Although it's said to be great for oily skin, it's perfect for my dry skin too! It has a very runny consistency and needs to be shaken before use. When applied thinly, it creates a porcelain-like finish. Spread it lightly with a brush, then pat with a puff, and... Wow, it's amazing! You can't help but be impressed. It applies so thinly that it looks like my skin but better, with excellent adherence and lasting power. The coverage is pretty good too. I touch my face a lot and move around quite a bit, so my makeup usually wears off quickly. But with this, my makeup is still there by the end of the workday... It's incredible! I first tried it as a sample with a tint purchase, then went back to my high-end foundation, but that's when I realized just how good Mille-Feuille is. It's one of those products where you don't notice while using it, but when you try something else, you really feel the difference. If you want a skin-like, soft-focus finish, I highly recommend this! I hesitated when I saw some concerning ingredients on Hwahae, but the product works so well for me that I keep using it. For reference, I'm currently obsessed with ingredients and have been tossing out anything with even slightly questionable components, but I just can't give this one up! Roughly spread it on your face with a brush, then pat it in with the included puff. It applies thinly with great adherence. It's fantastic!
