I have long hair that turned into a broomstick after a DIY bleaching session during the break. I'd been eyeing this product and finally bought the full-size plus a miniature for 6500 won at Watson's! The mini was super handy when I took it on a school trip.
Unlike Mise-en-scène shampoos that are packed with harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp, this serum works wonders since it's applied only to the hair. If you're curious, check out my review of the Pedison serum where I've also noted the pros and cons of Mise-en-scène.
First off, the fragrance is absolutely divine - it's so intense, probably due to the high concentration of perfume. I didn't realize it was a floral scent, but apparently, it is! Anyway, it's a really sweet smell that lifts my mood every time I catch a whiff. The scent lasts incredibly well too. While other serums fade by morning after applying at night, this one lingers for a full 24 hours - even better than some perfumes!
As for performance, there's definitely a noticeable difference between treated and untreated hair. While it may not dramatically transform your hair texture, it does make it more manageable and easier to comb. The serum is incredibly moisturizing and rich, so a little goes a long way - which means it lasts longer! After trying other serums, I've realized this one is superior. I'm planning to order the Rich version soon.
♥ The fragrance was absolutely delightful ♥♥
The texture is quite sticky and heavy. When applied, it can make your hair look greasy. This is especially problematic for me as I have long hair and typically blow-dry my scalp while air-drying the lengths. When I air-dry after applying this serum, my hair looks like it's stuck together.
On days when I've fallen asleep with air-dried hair after using this, my classmates ask if I forgot to dry my hair. It also leaves a lot of residue on my hands, necessitating a thorough wash. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seems to make my already oily scalp even greasier. Since finishing this product and switching to another, I've noticed my hair is less prone to looking greasy. However, this could also be due to the change in seasons.
Personally, I feel the quantity is a bit small compared to the price.
I've used up the full-size product, so I'm sharing a photo of the miniature. There aren't many hair serums quite like this one out there. If you're on the fence about buying it, I think it's worth giving it a try at least once.
