I switched from a Japanese skincare powder to this one from Numbers:in, and I'm loving it! Since it's not the type you apply with a puff, it's super easy to mix with your cream. When mixed generously with your skincare products, this really keeps oiliness in check. Outside of summer, a moderate amount was enough to control shine even until the next morning. But in this season, you need to mix in a lot to keep that oil at bay. The trade-off is that it can leave your skin feeling a bit dry. Personally, I dislike oiliness so much that I've accepted the dryness. After finishing my skincare routine, I sprinkle this on my face and gently pat it in with my fingers. It leaves my skin feeling wonderfully matte, and except for my nose, there's no visible oil even the next day. It's the champion of oil control! No need to buy the newly released Numbers skincare powder - just get this and apply it like I do, lifting your chin and patting it in with your fingers. The effectiveness may vary depending on how oily your skin is, but in my case, I need to use quite a bit to keep oil production at bay. As a result, it can feel itchy and drying. If I use a moderate amount, the oil comes through almost as if I hadn't used anything at all, so I just accept the side effects and use a lot. Because I use it so liberally, the product seems to run out quickly. Also, I didn't notice any blemish-soothing effects. This review highlights the product's strong oil-controlling properties, especially when used generously. It's particularly effective in warmer seasons but may cause dryness. The reviewer prefers it over newer alternatives for its mattifying effect. However, heavy usage is required for very oily skin, which can lead to irritation and rapid product depletion.
