It seems like a decent and cost-effective product. I feel it's perfectly suitable to use as a makeup base as well. I can't really think of any significant drawbacks. If I had to pick something, maybe the brightening effect doesn't last very long? I love the brightening effect it gives. The texture is smooth like an emulsion, making it pleasant to apply. It tends to fade quickly. After a while, it becomes patchy. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sting the eyes and isn't irritating to the skin. While it's not marketed as a brightening sunscreen, the combination of mineral filters and pink calamine provides a slight brightening effect. Even when applied generously, it doesn't leave an uncomfortable, floating feeling on the skin. After application, there's a slight stickiness that eventually becomes powdery and dry. This could be a drawback for those with dry skin. Since it's not specifically designed as a brightening sunscreen, the tone-up effect isn't particularly flattering.

I don't understand why the rating is so low. I'm really enjoying this product. It doesn't irritate my eyes or make my skin oily, and it even helps even out my complexion. If you have oily skin, you might find the texture a bit heavy. - kk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2021 (UTC+0)
Always available at a bargain price thanks to the 1+1 event! That's why it's great even for slathering on as a body sunscreen. I haven't noticed any issues when using it on my face. It's way too drying! I have dry skin, but it's not extremely dry. Even though I only used moisturizing skincare products, my skin felt tight in the evening or after just 3 hours... sigh... On top of that, the tone-up effect looks unnatural. It seems like this company's other sunscreens have the same issue. Wouldn't it be better if they didn't include the tone-up effect at all?

I was thrilled with how well it covered. Plus, I got an even better deal by purchasing during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. Given the current situation where we're wearing masks, when I apply this sunscreen and put on a mask, it feels a bit like I'm pressing down on something that's been built up high. That slight sensation was a bit disappointing. It has a slight white cast but absorbs really well! The price is also quite affordable. Unfortunately, the staying power leaves a lot to be desired. Even after just an hour, it feels like most of it has worn off...
