The stick version of Kool is much better... It looks so pretty when applied to the nose and chin! There's not really anything to complain about, but if you're going to buy a stick concealer, you might as well go for Etude House instead. The reviewer prefers the stick version of Kool concealer, especially for use on the nose and chin areas. They find the results attractive. However, they suggest that if someone is specifically looking for a stick concealer, Etude House might be a better choice. This implies that while the Kool stick concealer is good, the Etude House version might offer better value or performance. - so************Combination SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2025
I absolutely love this product! I use it every single day! If you're going for that fresh-faced, innocent look, this is a must-have! Regardless of whether you have warm or cool undertones, the cool shade is fantastic because it doesn't leave any yellow tinge. It's so natural-looking, yet you can clearly see its effects. The highlighter on the back is also amazing - the shimmer particles are so fine that it gives a beautifully natural and pretty glow! The downside is that because it's so natural-looking, I wouldn't recommend it to those who want more dramatic contouring or facial feature enhancement. Try applying the highlighter just before the outer corner of your eyes - it looks absolutely gorgeous! - c7********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJul 9, 2025
I prefer to complete my entire makeup look before applying powder, so I lean towards stick or cream formulas for products like blushers and contours. When I heard that the Too Cool For School contour was available in stick form, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient it was to use and how effectively it helped me sculpt my nose just the way I wanted. As for the highlighter part, I found myself avoiding applying it to the tip of my nose due to concerns about my base makeup pilling. Additionally, the color was lighter than I expected, so you might need to apply multiple layers or combine it with other products to achieve the desired effect. The stick format makes it incredibly easy to apply and blend, which is perfect for those who prefer a quick and hassle-free makeup routine. The contour shade helps create natural-looking shadows, enhancing your facial structure. However, the highlighter's subtle color might not provide the intense glow some users are looking for without additional layering. - pj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 4, 2025
The color is cool yet natural, and it applies incredibly smoothly! It doesn't lift or disturb your base makeup, and it's quite impressive. The finish isn't particularly matte. Compared to Etude House, the finish feels more like a cream blush. You'll need to set it with powder for better longevity. - ji*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJun 21, 2025
Blends beautifully and absorbs well. Looks natural and even includes a highlighter. Poor staying power. Not recommended for those seeking defined contours. This review highlights the product's excellent blendability and natural finish, which are key factors for many makeup enthusiasts. The inclusion of a highlighter adds value. However, the lack of longevity might be a dealbreaker for some, especially those looking for more dramatic contouring effects. Consider your priorities when deciding if this product is right for you. - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 13, 2025
This lipstick is absolutely fantastic! The staying power is impressive. I highly recommend it for cool-toned skin. If you're in the market for a lip stick, this is definitely the one to get! There's honestly nothing to complain about. I've run out of words to describe how great it is. - vq********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 11, 2025
The stick format makes it super easy to define contour lines. You can quickly swipe it along your nose bridge and jawline without getting your hands messy, which is perfect for adding dimension when you're in a rush. The texture is smooth, and it blends well, so even beginners should be able to use it without much trouble! The highlighter part has a vague color payoff, and the shimmer somehow doesn't complement the skin well, so I ended up not using it much. It actually seems to break down the base makeup, so you might be better off using a separate product instead. I recommend substituting the highlighter with a concealer or brightening moisturizer! - so*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMay 19, 2025
My first shading stick. Before applying powder shading, applying it before powder helps increase the longevity. It's good for setting the shading framework. I bought it to use on my nose, but it's oily and the base slips and cakes... Other products I've tested have a powder-like texture that's compressed into a crayon-like solid, but this one has an oily stick feel. Also, the parts that don't cake up and remain seem to be stained or not blended well, disappearing along with the base... But the parts that don't slip also don't seem to have good staying power... Before pressing it with powder, it flies off if it just brushes my face. The color is also somehow ambiguous and has a strange bluish tint? It's a bruised color. I chose it because I thought the reddish tones would be the least among competitors, giving a natural shadow effect, but I'm disappointed... When trying to use it for facial contouring, it's so thin that I have to apply a lot, and the base cakes during blending... Also, it leaves bumpy trouble spots where I applied it for contouring... The highlighter part is also really unnoticeable, and it's not even a natural-looking sheen... You can see the particles stuck in my pores when I dab it on my nose... It's a comprehensive disaster in many ways, but I'm still using a small amount on my nose because I don't want to waste it. I had high expectations for the powder contouring expert Too Cool, but the stick just didn't work for me... I would recommend purchasing a different well-known contouring stick... I bought this one because it was on sale, but I'm regretting it... At least the quantity is not too much, so I can use it up quickly and move on to something else. - jo***********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 17, 2025
Hwahae sticks are great. Hwahae shading is beautifully done. And blending is also good!! However, the highlighter stick part is not very good. In fact, I bought it because of the Hwahae, but the highlighter makes my foundation clump up on my nose like it's piled up, and it doesn't really look like I've used the highlighter, and it doesn't apply well. So, I recommend melting it with your fingers and then gently tapping it on with your fingertips. But if you use it on the apples of your cheeks, it can look quite pretty though.
