The texture is non-sticky and the hydration lasts long. Among the dozens of cosmetics I've tried, this essence is the best in terms of balancing texture and moisturizing effects. While Jaeyangrodo provides adequate hydration but is slightly sticky, this one is less tacky and even more hydrating. I used to use Sansim, but when I got a sample of Sulwhasoo's First Care Activating Serum, I noticed a significant difference in hydration. It's quite expensive. But when you consider the texture and hydration, well... There's no need for separate skin and emulsion steps. In summer, this alone is sufficient. In winter, layer it with Cheong-an (or Jaeyang for dry skin) lightly on top. If the price is a concern, Jaeyangrodo is a decent alternative. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 26, 2016
After cleansing in the morning, my skin usually feels dry. But when I apply this before bed, I wake up with skin that feels wonderfully hydrated. I didn't realize there were 8 potentially irritating ingredients... While my skin didn't have any adverse reactions, I wish I had known earlier. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 16, 2016
First off, I love how rich and luxurious the serum texture is. The fact that it comes in individual vials makes it super hygienic, and it even includes about 4 droppers. I had the chance to buy it at duty-free during an overseas trip, and while I initially hesitated due to the price, after using it, I knew I had to get it again. The hydration it provides is absolutely no joke! The price is admittedly quite shocking. It has a rather strong, natural scent. I've found it works really well when applied immediately after cleansing.
