    This gel is absolutely packed with hydration! At first, I thought a gel formula would be super slick and sticky, but it's actually the complete opposite—it has such a clean, fresh finish! When I use it as the final step before makeup, it creates this amazing hydrating layer that keeps my makeup from shifting or looking patchy. I've also noticed it has a calming effect. Even on days when my skin gets irritated after removing makeup, I see way fewer breakouts when I use this product. The cooling effect is seriously incredible. Whenever my skin feels hot and inflamed, applying this gives an instant cooling sensation, and the redness and heat just melt away. It's honestly the fastest-acting soothing product I've ever tried! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight moisturizer with serious hydration, and especially to those with sensitive skin. When I apply a generous layer at night and sleep, my skin is noticeably calmer the next morning. The only downside is the price point and amount—I can only justify using it on special occasions.
    The hydrating layer it creates is so thin that when I first applied it, I wasn't even sure if I'd put anything on! It works okay as a final step before makeup, but for nighttime use, it just doesn't feel like enough moisture. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with dry skin. Unless you're piling it on generously, you'll definitely feel the dryness. The scent is a bit medicinal, which isn't a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable. The real issue is the price—it's quite expensive, and honestly, you'd probably be better off getting a separate night cream at this cost. I wish they offered more frequent discounts and came out with a larger size because this runs out so quickly!
