    I was hesitant at first because there weren't many reviews, but I took the plunge and I'm absolutely thrilled! VDL really delivers. Base prep products are usually pricey, so I was torn about investing, but this has become my go-to alternative and it works beautifully. After applying it, my skin feels incredibly smooth and dewy with this perfect velvety finish that's just amazing.
    Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. I use VDL for all my makeup base products and nothing has let me down.
    Apply this after your setting spray, then layer your foundation on top and the results are absolutely flawless.

    Skin Type: Combination with Dehydration (Quite Dry) Purchased Shade: Clear I used to squeeze out blackheads and whiteheads with my fingernails, which caused so much irritation and did nothing for my pores. Then one day, my enlarged pores started bothering me so much that I decided to try a primer for the first time. There are four shade options available: Mint, Rose Quartz, Serenity, and Clear. Many people choose color-correcting primers to address specific concerns, but since I wasn't sure which shade would work best for me, I went with the safe choice of Clear. Formula: This primer has a hydrating texture. It feels like a soothing cream and applies smoothly with moisture. Even though my skin is dehydrated, I don't experience any tightness or heaviness when I layer my base makeup on top, which is really convenient. Pore Coverage: I applied this just on my T-zone to test it out, then layered a thin coat of cushion foundation. Without even using powder, my pores looked incredibly smooth and blurred. The before-and-after difference was definitely noticeable. Packaging and Size: The tube contains a generous amount of product, and the tube format makes it super easy to use. It's not a burden to use daily, and I feel like this will last me a long time.
    Oxidation: The downside is that oxidation happens faster than I expected. It looks smooth and flawless at first, but as time goes on, the tone becomes slightly dull and the lasting power is a bit disappointing. Application: To be honest, the application isn't the smoothest. Rather than using the included spatula, applying it with my fingers and blending it out by hand feels much more natural and gives me more even coverage.
