    Texture: A rich toner that creates a hydrating veil This toner feels noticeably luxurious for a toner. While the formula is similar to a standard toner, it creates a thin moisture layer like an essence, giving you that hydrated feeling. It has this slightly tacky quality that seems to grip your skin, so when I used it alongside other pore-minimizing products, I noticed my pores appeared less prominent than before. For combination to oily skin types, I found that during summer, this product alone with one other product was enough. It felt especially perfect during this transitional period as summer fades and dryness starts to creep in.
    The downside: I did notice a somewhat sharp, alcohol-forward sensation that felt a bit irritating! On days when I'd had my eyebrows done or when my skin had minor irritation, using this toner made those sensitive areas sting and hurt. I didn't experience this with other gentle, lightweight toners, so it was disappointing. It seems like you should only use this when your skin is completely clear without any breakouts or wounds. I was a bit concerned that the active ingredients might be too stimulating for compromised skin.
    My personal tip: Since this isn't a completely watery toner, I found it worked best when applied directly to the face with just my hands rather than using it as an exfoliating treatment. Skip the cotton pad approach. Rather than using it as a basic exfoliating toner, I'd recommend using it as a hydrating step before applying your other skincare products during dry, transitional seasons. That's when it really shines!
