      Texture and Feel Despite its jelly name, this toner looks more like a flowing water toner to the eye, but once you apply it to your skin, you can feel a slight viscosity. It's not runny or sticky, but rather feels like a hydrating gel that's been thinned with water—giving you that plump, watery texture from moisture alone. Thanks to this texture, when you use it as an exfoliating toner, it feels gentler and more soothing compared to regular water toners. With excellent absorption and quick-drying properties, it's easy to layer and apply as an exfoliating toner. Since there's no film or sticky residue, you get that refreshing finish while deeply hydrating your skin. Key Benefits 1. Hydration As someone with dehydrated oily skin, this toner has made so many hydrating serums and ampoules I've used feel pointless. It's more moisturizing than most hydrating serums and ampoules, and it truly tackles that inner dryness. When you saturate a cotton pad and use it as an exfoliating toner, it plumps your skin with pure hydration—no oiliness—while keeping the surface from feeling sticky. Based on my experience with dehydrated skin: in summer, layering it three or four times keeps my skin dewy all day (except for naturally dry areas like around my mouth). During seasonal transitions and winter, my skin used to dry out quickly after exfoliating, but with this toner, even after exfoliating and spending time on extractions, my skin stays hydrated as I move into my serum and essence steps. 2. Great Ingredients and Soothing Power Instead of distilled water, this contains 87 percent Jeju aloe vera leaf water plus ectoin. (Based on ectoin appearing after gluconolactone in the ingredient list, it's likely under 1 percent, but both ingredients strengthen skin barrier and have anti-inflammatory benefits.) I've tried many aloe gels, but this one's soothing effect is so much better. When you apply it like a liquid aloe gel, it absorbs instantly, boosts hydration, reduces heat sensation, and calms your skin. 3. Price For a toner with 87 percent Jeju aloe vera leaf water and expensive ectoin included, you can grab a 500ml bottle for under 20,000 won on sale. The value is honestly unbeatable.
      Drawbacks While PHA is considered the gentlest chemical exfoliant and does help with hydration, I'm not sure why they included it in this formula. I haven't had any issues so far, but since I have sensitive skin, I'm a bit worried about potential problems down the line.
      When you use this as an exfoliating toner by saturating a cotton pad, it causes less physical irritation than regular water toners and immediately tackles inner dryness. If you follow up with it as a hydrating toner, you'll feel the moisture boost along with reduced heat and a calming effect. It's a bit generous with product when used this way, but applying it before body oil is also great for infusing your skin with hydration.

      This water-type formula feels refreshing and clean, absorbing quickly into the skin to hydrate those dry patches beautifully. When I use it as an exfoliating toner with a gentle swipe, it removes dead skin cells and leaves my complexion feeling incredibly smooth and refined, which really helps my makeup apply flawlessly. The generous size means I can use it generously as a daily toner for both gentle exfoliation and oil control without worrying about running out.
      I didn't have any real complaints. I just assumed the entire container was sealed, so I tore into it when I could have simply opened the top instead.
