Apply this before blow-drying and you'll notice your hair looks noticeably smoother and more polished. The texture flows nicely—not too runny, more like a typical serum consistency. There's definitely a visible difference between using it and skipping it. My hair reaches about chest length, and five pumps leaves residue on my hands. Four pumps feels like too little though. That's really my only complaint. I love how lightweight and smooth this feels! It seems like it absorbs really well into the skin, which is exactly what I want. The only downside is the price point. Since it's a Japanese product, it does come with a premium cost. I use this shampoo on damp hair. Since I have longer hair, I pump it three times and massage it thoroughly throughout. Plus, it actually helps neutralize odors, so when I'm heading somewhere with strong smells like a Korean BBQ restaurant, I apply a generous amount. I really appreciate that it's not sticky and doesn't leave a greasy residue. The only downside is that it's a Japanese product and the price point is a bit high. After shampooing, apply 3 pumps to damp hair and distribute evenly. Then dry with warm air. This product contains heat-activated collagen, so you need to use warm air to dry it. Once it's mostly dry, blow dry one more time for best results—you'll definitely notice a difference in your hair texture and shine.

This Ajowan product is hands down the best I've tried. It's lightweight, doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy, and gives my hair that gorgeous shine and movement I've always wanted. The price is really steep, and I wish I could buy it anywhere instead of being limited to salon purchases only. It's honestly so inconvenient. I save up to splurge on this essence, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny. After I wash my hair, I apply it, blow dry, and then add one more coat of the oil-based essence. Since I heard that products with added oils aren't ideal, I decided to try this one. While it doesn't give that instant silky-smooth feeling you get from professional silk treatments, the ingredients seem really gentle and nourishing. If only the price were a bit more affordable! The price is quite steep. Since it's an international purchase, the shipping costs add up too, which makes it even more expensive. Apply it to the ends of your hair and make sure to rinse it out exactly 20 minutes later.
