I bought this as a lip base and I'm really happy with it. It has a lovely dried rose pink tone that works beautifully. If you apply it multiple times, it can look a bit chalky, so you need to be careful and apply it gently. Velvet perfection! The shade matches my natural lip color so beautifully - no awkwardness, just pure perfection. It's cool-toned and a bit drying, but my face has some natural flush so it balances out. I'd love to grab another one in a similar shade that's more moisturizing, but I need to show some restraint. Not buying more is the responsible choice, even though I really want to! Anyway, I absolutely love this! I'd definitely recommend testing it in-store before purchasing. My lips do get quite dry with this formula, so I'd recommend applying a generous lip balm underneath. I wish there was a more nude tone option available. This product is way cooler than I expected! When I apply a light layer, it feels lukewarm, but with a generous application, it gives a really nice cool pink tone. Plus, the color payoff is absolutely fantastic! Among highly pigmented products, I can't find a pink with enough white undertones... This one also has a muted cool pink vibe... Can someone recommend a heavily pigmented base lip product that actually works for light undertones? Since this has such strong color payoff, I apply a generous amount and let it sit for about 20 minutes, then gently dab it with a tissue.
