I originally bought this for my kids, but I've been using it myself because it feels so refreshing even in summer. I apply it before my sunscreen. Without it, my eyes and face feel irritated just an hour after applying sunscreen, but when I use this soothing gel first and then apply sunscreen, the irritation is much less intense and I can stay comfortable for several hours. Since it's a soothing gel, it does have a bit of a sticky feel. But that's something I'm willing to accept.

It feels a bit sticky at first and dries out quickly, so I have to layer another cream on top. Use this before your emulsion or cream step for best results!

Now I use the Derma Cicapair Cream and Atopalm Real Barrier Cream as my winter moisturizer alternatives. Compared to my usual drugstore gel in the large size, the texture feels lighter and there's barely any stickiness. But because it hydrates so well, when I use a generous amount, there's this slightly slippery sensation—kind of like mineral oil? It's subtle, almost like the feeling after applying hand cream. Since my skin leans more oily even though it's combination, it might not absorb as quickly, which could explain this texture feel. Unlike the drugstore version, when I use this on my hair, my strands feel a bit stiff. It gets better once it dries, but I'd say it's better not to use it as a multi-purpose product.
