I had no idea this was such an expensive and popular product! My boyfriend brought it back from the duty-free shop when he returned from his military reserve training, so I thought it was just an affordable sheet mask. I was really surprised by how amazing the reviews are and that it's actually a premium product! First of all, the sheet itself isn't thin at all - it has a nice, substantial texture that feels great on the skin. Because of this thickness, the moisture doesn't evaporate quickly while I'm wearing it, which is fantastic! Normally, no matter what mask I use, I always take it off after 20-30 minutes because other masks start feeling dry after just 15 minutes. But this one stays hydrated the whole time! Plus, it's not sticky at all, so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who hates that tacky feeling like I do. When I take it off and it absorbs, it leaves my skin feeling perfectly moisturized without any residue - it's honestly the best! It does have that tingling sensation like other people mentioned. What I really love about this is so clear - the mask sheet is absolutely loaded with serum and essence liquid. There's seriously so much product soaked into it that when the weather gets dry like this, I can reapply the leftover liquid after the mask dries and keep my skin hydrated for even longer. It's such a smart way to get more mileage out of each sheet! The only tiny letdown is that the mask sheet doesn't have a cut line around the chin area, which would make it fit a bit better. But honestly, the benefits are so amazing that I'm completely satisfied with it anyway. It's gotten so popular that I decided to try it with high expectations. Honestly, at 4,000 won per sheet at full price, it's not exactly cheap, but if you stock up during sales at Olive Young, you can definitely get great value for your money. What I loved about it: First thing that impressed me was how well the sheet adheres to your skin. They say it's made with bamboo fabric combined with egg white extract, and the texture against your skin feels incredibly soft and thin. It conforms perfectly to all the contours of your face without lifting or bunching up. Since the sheet stays in place so evenly, you can really feel the active ingredients sinking into your skin. Also, the essence amount is seriously generous. When you pull the mask out, essence practically drips out because there's so much of it. The sheet never dries out during use. I even used the leftover essence on my neck, arms, and legs after removing the mask, or mixed it into modeling packs to make the most of every drop. The scent isn't irritating either - it has a subtle, refreshing aloe fragrance that feels really soothing to use. But the part I'm most satisfied with is definitely the calming effect. My cheeks were red after cleansing, but they visibly calmed down after using the mask, and my skin texture became so much smoother. I have combination skin that tends to be dry underneath, but the hydration lasted all night without any tightness. My makeup application the next morning was flawless too - I'm completely happy with this product.
