I used it right after receiving it, and I was always stressed out because my scalp would get flaky and irritated after root touch-ups. First, this is my honest review after purchasing and trying this product myself! I'm someone who deals with seborrheic scalp issues every single day, so I've been struggling to find the right shampoo. But I've noticed that people with similar scalp types to mine tend to face the same problems: 1. When I focus on scalp care, the cleansing is either too harsh or my hair feels stiff and dry 2. When I use something good for my hair, my scalp breaks out or gets too oily I'm sure many of you can relate to this frustration! I've tried so many shampoos marketed for seborrheic scalps - you name it, I've probably tested it. Honestly, I've tried so many that I can't even remember them all anymore. To be frank, when I looked into this product's ingredients, I was actually surprised to find some components I wasn't expecting. But here's the thing - despite that, this product works incredibly well for me, and I'm not exaggerating! Cleansing power? Absolutely fantastic! My hair feels so clean and refreshed. Hair texture? The conditioning is so good, my hair feels silky smooth. Seborrheic relief? After using this, about 6 hours later I might feel just the tiniest bit of itchiness, but it's minimal. A quick application of a cooling roll-on takes care of any remaining irritation, and I'm good to go. Since I started using this, my seborrheic issues have improved dramatically! My dermatologist even said I might not need oral medication anymore and only suggested applying a topical treatment occasionally when it itches. I haven't used it in 3 weeks now! Even though the ingredient list isn't perfect, the formula combination is absolutely brilliant - the way everything works together is exceptional. My scalp has finally stabilized! I'm planning to stick with this brand going forward. Please don't reformulate this - I'm begging you! There's nothing bad about it! I was surprised by some of the ingredients, but since it's so effective at stabilizing my scalp, there really aren't any downsides. Since seborrheic issues tend to flare up more when your body runs hot, I'd recommend getting a cooling roll-on like I did. Using it to cool down your scalp periodically really helps!
