    There's a sharp minty burst right when you spray it, but it fades within 3 seconds and blends beautifully into your skin. This is an aromatic fragrance led by sage notes, and what makes it unique is the absence of incense or spicy undertones you'd typically expect with this profile. The ambroxan base is incredibly prominent, so if you're sensitive to musk or ambroxan-heavy scents, this might not be your match.
    Like most ambroxan-based fragrances, it's worth waiting 3-4 hours after application before deciding to purchase. The longevity doesn't quite live up to the fragrance profile—it performs around average, similar to Byredo's typical wear time.
    This fragrance doesn't shine in extreme temperatures, whether it's freezing cold or scorching heat. It's perfect for rainy days when you want something fresh and uplifting. It works beautifully for anyone, regardless of gender or age.

If Le Labo Santal 33 hits you with a strong woody punch, and Aesop Tacit gives you a spicy kick, this fragrance strikes a beautiful balance. It preserves the woody texture while capturing the essence of cacti blooming in the hot desert, yet it never feels overwhelming or aggressively spicy. Death represents a return to nature, so refined woody and herbal notes blend seamlessly to represent natural elements. Personally, I detect a sensual quality to this fragrance. It arrives as a sexy woody scent that evokes the vibe of a sultry, dark-skinned Latina dancing in a Despacito music video. It's the perfect fragrance for summer.
