Before my trip to Japan, I saw purchase posts and decided to go with purple because everyone said it was great! I haven't used cleansing tissues much before, but honestly, my previous experiences weren't great. They felt irritating, and tissues with foam residue seemed odd to me. When I was younger, I didn't do makeup or skincare properly, so that made the experience even worse. Unlike those irritating tissues I used to think about, this product wasn't irritating at all. Even when water got in my eyes while removing eye makeup, it didn't sting! Eye makeup came off beautifully, and mascara removed easily too. I used this instead of Biore cleansing oil, then followed up with my vitamin-packed soap or Biore cleansing foam to finish. This one product removes everything, and as I wipe with the tissue, it even gently exfoliates a bit, which felt amazing! (Since I'm naturally flaky, I need regular care or it builds up.) I used every last sheet. This is my first cleansing tissue, and I'm actually regretting that I bought a cheaper alternative because I was worried about the price and whether I'd use it enough. On days when I can't be bothered to remove makeup, I can thoroughly wipe it away with this and just rinse with water, and it works so well! I'm definitely stocking up next time I hit the drugstore. The cap is also a snap-lock design and I absolutely love it. The cheaper alternative I bought separately has a sticker-style cap like a wet wipe, but honestly, this sturdy snap-lock cap seems way better for long-term use. No real downsides. The only issue is that I didn't manage the humidity in my bathroom well, so the surface got a bit damp and looked messy. But that's not a product flaw at all. When I'm too lazy to remove makeup, I just pull out one sheet, wipe quickly, rinse with water, and I'm done. It's that easy!
