It's lightweight, adheres beautifully to the skin, and the coverage is really impressive. I'm happy with everything about it. The staying power is solid too. I apply it in the morning and head out without needing to touch up my makeup at all.

The shade runs quite dark. I think I should have gone for something a shade lighter instead.

I have textured, bumpy skin with lots of blemish marks and what seems like very oily skin, but honestly, underneath all that shine, my skin is actually quite dry. It's that frustrating combination where oil appears on the surface while my skin feels parched underneath. With other products I've tried, as time goes on and they start to break down, my pores become really noticeable or I get flaking and dry patches. But this one is different—even as the day goes on, I don't feel that dryness as much. And when the natural oils kick in, my skin actually looks beautiful. That's why I'd recommend this to anyone with oily skin. Yes, it can go on a bit thick, so you'll want to control how much you use. But the coverage is solid enough that I didn't need a separate concealer. My skin usually gets really oily in the afternoon, and with other foundations I'd absolutely need powder to touch up. With this one, I can skip that step and still look good. I was specifically hunting for a shade 23 with a pink undertone, and honestly, I haven't found another shade 23 with a pink base that works as well as this one.

I used this a lot before the reformulation, and trying the new version after all this time, it feels like the shade is just slightly darker than what I was using before. I normally wear shade 23, and my skin has warm undertones, so it matched my natural skin tone pretty closely. But if your skin is on the lighter side at all, or if you usually wear shade 23 but like to go one shade lighter, I'd suggest picking a lighter shade instead.
