This is absolutely stunning... the shimmer is so refined and elegant. True to its white opal name, you get this beautiful blend of purple and pink shimmer that creates an enchanting glow. The best part? It shines with a crystal-clear luminosity without any yellow or muddy undertones. It's not over-the-top, so it works beautifully for everyday makeup, and honestly, it's absolutely perfect for cool-toned skin. Just a touch on your cheekbones, eyelids, and bridge of your nose instantly brings definition to your face and gives you that radiant, fresh-faced glow. The texture is incredibly fine and it adheres beautifully to skin, so it looks natural and seamless without emphasizing any texture or imperfections. The color payoff really varies depending on which brush you use, and if I'm being honest, the included applicator doesn't get much use. You'll definitely want to invest in a separate brush. Also, if you prefer a subtle, understated look, this is perfect for you. But if you're after a bold, intense shimmer or that super dewy finish, the color payoff might feel a bit underwhelming. I purchased the ivory shade. I chose ivory over opal because the opal felt too much like a shimmery, youthful look. The included brush is super convenient when I'm in a rush. The product amount is really generous. While the texture is fine, I was hoping for something more subtle and luxurious-feeling, but for the price, it's just average. I discovered this highlighter while searching for light undertone options, and I was lucky enough to find it in stock at the duty-free shop, so I grabbed it right away. The price is steep, but highlighters last forever, so it's worth it! It gives off this subtle pink glow that looks better on the under-eye area and cheekbones rather than the bridge of the nose. The shade is absolutely gorgeous. I applied it with a MAC fan brush, but the shimmer particles seemed to break up a bit during application. This product gives you a subtle, understated glow without going overboard. I really appreciate that the pearl particles are so fine—they don't emphasize your pores at all, which is fantastic. This is exactly the opalescent highlighter I was looking for! It gives that beautiful opal shimmer over a fair complexion with a subtle, semi-matte finish. I loved how it instantly made my face look brighter and more radiant the moment I applied it. I was worried the pearl particles might get stuck in my pores and clump up. Thankfully, even on my oily skin, it doesn't settle into the pores or look patchy. I'm using the Ivory Gold shade instead of the 40, and I absolutely love it! I went to the store just to grab a lipstick, but the sales associate convinced me to try this, and I'm so glad she did. The subtle pearl finish with that gorgeous gold shimmer is just stunning and so beautiful. MAC's Biming Blush can sometimes look too intense if you're not careful, but this one is totally different! It's not just perfect as a highlighter—you can use it on your under-eye area and even on your eyelids for a beautiful accent. Honestly, you can use it anywhere on your face and it looks gorgeous. The versatility is incredible! I'm really satisfied with this purchase. The price is the main issue. And the brush that comes with it doesn't seem very practical—it feels like it's just there to complete the package. The shine is beautiful and not overdone. This would be perfect for anyone with cool undertones rather than warm undertones. There's a mix of pink and purple shimmer in it. First of all, it's Chanel so you know it's good. The built-in brush is a nice touch. The pink shade is elegant and sophisticated, not tacky at all. When you apply it to the apples of your cheeks, it gives such a lifted, youthful glow. There's some powder fallout, unfortunately. The brush quality isn't the best, which makes it worse. You'll need to clean the compact frequently. If you use a different brush instead of the built-in one, you'll get even better results.
