After cleansing, my skin feels hydrated without needing to apply a separate moisturizer. As long as I don't scrub too hard to remove every last trace of residue, there's no dryness. After cleansing, I loved how my skin stayed hydrated and comfortable without any tightness, even as the water dried. Excellent product. Works great for morning cleansing alone. However, when removing makeup, a second cleanse is necessary. Start by thoroughly wetting your face with water, then gently massage the product across your skin. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, using about 10 gentle strokes on your forehead, 10 on your cheeks, and 10 around your mouth, working from top to bottom. The ingredients are gentle and it cleanses beautifully with such a clean feeling. I really loved the hydrating cream cleanser, but the texture wasn't for me, so I switched to this one and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. No downsides. Seriously, none. I haven't experienced any breakouts since using this, and while there's a slight tightness, I follow up with my skin essence right away so it's completely fine.
