I have sensitive, acne-prone skin with some dryness, so I was looking for a non-comedogenic product and decided to try this. I know that BB creams with good ingredients are coming out little by little, but this is the only one I found that actually has non-comedogenic certification. To be safe, I started with a smaller size (only available on the website). Application: It spreads incredibly smoothly and thinly. Flakiness: The hydrating formula means dry patches don't stand out. Breakouts after use: None so far (after 3 days of use).

Shade: It's lighter than Celfusion C BB shade 21, but darker than other cushions and foundations in shade 21. Since I have oily skin, there's some darkening. (However, mixing with mineral sunscreen reduces the darkening slightly, and using it with a lavender-tinted makeup primer almost eliminates the darkening.) Coverage: Seems lower than other BB creams from competitors (probably because it has a more hydrating formula... and to get non-comedogenic certification, it needs to be a lightweight formula that doesn't clog pores). Oiliness: Quite oily. If you have oily skin, powder is essential when using it alone, and even with powder, it gets shiny pretty quickly. Longevity: Because it applies so thinly, it doesn't last long. The hydrating formula also means hair gets stuck in it a lot.

I recommend this to people with sensitive skin, lots of dryness, acne-prone skin, and a skin tone around shades 22-23. Personally, I have very oily skin that lacks hydration but gets oily immediately after makeup, so when I used it alone, it broke down really quickly and wasn't great. But when I mixed it 1:1 with a mineral sunscreen (Etude House Pure, pre-reformulation) or used it with a makeup primer (Memebox lavender shade), the shine reduced and it worked well. Most importantly, I love that it's non-comedogenic. To be honest, if I only looked at coverage and longevity, another brand was better, but since I have acne-prone skin, I always got worse breakouts after using it, so that was a downside. The photo was taken 3 hours after applying this BB cream over mineral sunscreen. It's great that when I apply it over mineral sunscreen, I don't get shine even without powder.

I picked up the shade 19 for cool summer tones in the 20ml size. The coverage is medium to full, and it does a great job hiding breakouts and redness. That said, it does feel a bit dry and the texture is on the thicker side—definitely not a lightweight formula. I noticed some creasing and texture emphasis on my skin. While the coverage is impressive, I'm someone who prefers a lighter feel even if it means less coverage, so I'm not planning to repurchase. I was really hoping for that lightweight texture, but unfortunately that's not what I got. It's pretty drying for winter use, so I think it'll work better for me in summer. I didn't originally buy it to wear alone, but the coverage is so strong that I can actually use it as a standalone base. The shade 21N isn't particularly bright—it's similar to my skin tone in shade 19, so it doesn't give that luminous glow I was hoping for.

I noticed some breakouts when I first started using it, so I stopped until they calmed down and then tried again. I'm basically testing it out this way to see if it's actually causing the issue or not. The reviews were amazing, which is why I bought it, but honestly, for the price, I'm pretty disappointed. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase.
