I used this during professional treatments, and while it felt squeaky clean at first, I experienced severe breakouts for 1-3 days afterward. My skin was really upset, so honestly, I can't say there were any real benefits.

At the treatment center, they use this cleanser after pore detoxification. There's this old ingredient called demodecin that supposedly kills mites and purges impurities during the detox process. They told me that the worse your skin is, the more toxins get released, and that any bumps appearing are part of the purification. Well, right after my treatment, I started breaking out everywhere with whiteheads and pustules that never appeared before. They kept saying it would get better, that there's research backing it, and that this was a healing crisis I just needed to push through. But my skin, which was originally clear and healthy, turned into problem skin. Now I realize I have contact dermatitis. It spread from my thinner skin areas to everywhere I normally get breakouts. Please, don't let your skin barrier completely collapse into an emergency situation. If anything starts appearing, stop using it immediately and see a dermatologist for proper medication. The breakouts cleared up instantly once I started taking antihistamines. I'm really sad because I feel like I ruined my naturally beautiful skin just chasing perfection. There are so many better high-performance products available at regular beauty retailers that cost way less. I would absolutely never use this product again.
