The fragrance is absolutely amazing, and you don't need to use much product at all—a little goes a long way. The texture is wonderfully creamy and smooth, with just a hint of grittiness, and even though I have sensitive skin, I had zero issues using it. What really impressed me is how incredibly soft and supple my skin feels after using it—it's honestly made me so happy. The scent is fantastic, and I'm definitely buying this again without hesitation. There are more exfoliating particles than I expected, so it does feel a bit rough on the skin. If you have very sensitive skin, I'd recommend trying a gentler formula instead. (I'm looking for the coconut maple sugar scent version - couldn't find it anywhere, so I'm leaving a note here!) My skin isn't particularly sensitive, so I usually go for scrubs with larger grains. This one feels really gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all, which I love! The scent is definitely polarizing - not everyone will love it. I usually have my go-to body scrub brands, but I've been using them up, so when I saw Dove came out with a cream formula, I was curious. The reviews were great too, so I decided to grab it during the Olive Young sale. Personally, the cherry blossom scent wasn't really my thing, and the pomegranate shea butter one smells kind of like cherry ice cream or cherry milk. Neither is exactly my favorite fragrance, but here's the thing - when I actually use it, the scent is different from just opening the lid and smelling it. Plus, the lingering fragrance on my skin after rinsing is actually way better than I expected. The scrub intensity varies depending on the scent - the pomegranate is medium strength. Compared to my usual body scrubs made with salt and such, which feel rough and gritty right from application (I usually have to wet my hands first), Dove's cream texture with the exfoliating particles feels much smoother to apply overall. The particles don't dissolve, which actually helps with the application. It rinses off gently and smoothly. If there's another sale, I'd definitely repurchase this. While not all body scrubs dissolve completely in water, most do break down gradually. Dove's different though - the particles in the cream don't dissolve at all, so if you scrub too hard, it could feel irritating. It doesn't come with a spatula. After rubbing it on your body a few times, it might feel a bit dry, but if you wet your hands and continue rubbing, it becomes smoother. Dove Body Scrub has been all over my Instagram feed lately. I finally spotted it at Olive Young and grabbed it for 9,900 won during their sale. 1. I expected a soft, sweet fragrance, but the scent is way stronger than I anticipated. The moment I step out of the shower, the whole house smells sweet, and the fragrance lingers on my skin for quite a while. That said, it's a pretty intense vanilla-sweet scent, so it might not be for everyone depending on your preferences. 2. While it spreads smoothly, the scrub particles are surprisingly sharp. I was really hoping for something gentler, so I'm thinking of mixing it with oil during winter. The exfoliating power is definitely strong. I'd recommend using it just once or twice a week as a targeted treatment. 3. There's no included spoon, and since it comes in a jar, you need to be careful when using it without getting water in. I use a disposable spoon to scoop it out and make sure to dry the spoon well before each use. 4. Just half to one disposable spoon is enough to cleanse your entire body. This product is going to last me a really long time. I'm planning to mix it with oil for my routine. You need to scoop it out with your own spoon. The fragrance is pretty hit or miss depending on your taste. They were out of the cherry scent, so I'm leaving a review for the pomegranate version instead. Since this fragrance isn't available in Korea, I ordered it through Coupang's international shipping. The pomegranate version feels similar in texture, and I love that it works as both a gentle scrub and a body wash. It's absolutely fantastic, and the scent is wonderful. I actually bought this during the June sale and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! My skin feels so incredibly smooth and soft. I used to wonder if I really needed to take care of my body skin too, but now I realize that was such a silly thought. My skin feels like silk and looks absolutely gorgeous. The scent is amazing too - every time I shower and use the scrub, it makes me so happy! No issues at all. I haven't experienced any breakouts or problems, and honestly everything about it is fantastic.
