    This brick-toned shade has so much red in it that it looks really sophisticated and calm. I think it'll be perfect for fall and winter looks, and even when I layer it on generously, it doesn't get super intense. The color builds beautifully with each application, staying natural and wearable! If you love subtle, understated color payoff, I'd definitely recommend this one. The scent is like chocolate - so good! Since it has a balm formula, there's a bit of tackiness, which is totally normal. Because it's a lip and cheek product, you can use it so many different ways. I love how versatile it is!
    The product page showed this deep chocolate brown shade, so I was expecting that color. But when I got it, it turned out to be a brick-toned shade with a lot of red undertones. I was really disappointed.
    I use a silicone lip brush to dab it onto my cheeks, then I blend it out with a blush brush. It applies smoothly without any makeup shifting, and it adheres really well to the skin.

    My shade: 22-23, deep undertone (estimated as deep undertone) Perfect match for deep undertones: This is absolutely ideal for my skin tone. It's not too red, not too muddy, and has this beautifully muted, clear quality. While it looks quite brown in the container, once I apply it to my skin, it transforms into a gorgeous toned-down brown-red shade that's just stunning. Subtle, buildable color: The pigment isn't overpowering, which makes it super easy to control the intensity. It has this "barely-there yet visible" quality that I love. The more I layer it, the deeper it becomes. The swatch on my palm shows the result after four layers. There's barely any staining, and when I blend it with my fingers and view it from a distance, it's just a hint of color, like when your skin is slightly flushed. Just the right amount of shine: It's not overly glossy, so it looks beautiful whether I wear it as a blush or lip tint without feeling heavy or overdone. Sweet, inoffensive scent: I'm not entirely sure what the exact fragrance is, but it has this lovely sweet, slightly vanilla-like aroma. It's subtle enough that it doesn't overpower, which I really appreciate.
    Color requires patience to assess: I need to wait a bit after application to see the true color. At first, I worry I've applied it too heavily, but as I keep tapping it in, the shade becomes noticeably lighter. This means I often end up reapplying, and then it suddenly looks too red. I've found that layering it about three times works well, but continuous tapping does lighten the color. Stickier than expected: When I use it as a blush, I barely notice the tackiness, but when I apply it as a lip tint, it feels quite sticky and clingy, which I'm not a fan of.
    Personally, I think this product looks much prettier as a blush than as a lip tint. When I wear it on my lips, it tends to emphasize fine lines and the sticky texture bothers me, so I prefer using it as a blush instead.
