My skin gets irritated and reactive when I use the wrong skincare products, but this one was completely gentle and soothing! Final Thoughts I highly recommend this to anyone with oily or dehydrated skin types! I've been loyal to the Aestura skincare line, but after trying this, I'd say it's basically a lighter version of Aestura with just a touch of fragrance added. While it claims to brighten and reduce wrinkles, I didn't notice any visible changes after about two weeks of use. That said, it's a wonderfully reliable product that works beautifully for everyday use!
      What was disappointing? If you have dry skin, this absorbs very quickly, so you might feel a bit of dryness.
      A great gift option for people with sensitive skin who want something gentle and reliable

      I received a Holika Holika eyeshadow sample, and I'm really impressed with how it feels. The texture is incredibly smooth and bouncy, almost like a jelly that's both stretchy and pillowy. When I dab it with my finger, it melts onto the skin with a dewy finish. It feels cool when I first apply it to my cheeks, which instantly soothes any heat or redness. The formula glides on beautifully and surprisingly feels more like a hydrating cream than a gel shadow. It seems to have some serious moisturizing power, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I've only been using it for about a week, but every time I apply it, I get this amazing feeling that made me want to write this review right away. It's supposed to have brightening and wrinkle-smoothing benefits, which is pretty exciting. Since I already layer other brightening and anti-aging products, I can't really tell if those specific benefits are working, but I think this would be perfect for anyone who needs to calm down redness or heat on their skin. That said, the price listed on the site is honestly quite steep, so I'm still not sure if it's worth paying that much for it.
      It has that typical fresh herbal scent you get from regular aloe gel creams, kind of sharp and minty. It might be too strong for people who are sensitive to fragrance, but it doesn't really bother me. Overall, there's nothing majorly disappointing about it, and it's pretty decent. The formula is so nice to touch that I find myself reaching for it constantly.
