With everything going on these days, I do apply lip color in the morning, but honestly, I can't be bothered to touch it up after eating. On the other hand, going without anything feels way too dry on my lips. So I started using a clear lip balm, but then I noticed the leftover color from the morning would show through, which bothered me. That's when I decided to grab a tinted lip balm instead, and I'm so glad I did! It gives my lips just the right amount of natural flush while keeping that deeper tone I love. Plus, for a tinted balm, the moisture it provides is seriously impressive. Honestly, there's really nothing bad about it. It's a clear red shade. The scent is wonderfully sweet and tangy - I really love it. Plus, the price is so reasonable. The only downside is really the ingredient list. I've made peace with it though.

I bought this lip balm based on a student recommendation and I'm so happy with it! It looks incredibly natural. I didn't feel much moisturizing effect, which was disappointing. If it had better hydration, it would have been absolutely perfect. The staying power also seemed pretty limited. It's more of a daily touch-up product, so it works well for that purpose. While this lip balm does have a natural color, it's actually the darkest shade among the cherry-tinted lip balms, so if you want to apply multiple layers, I'd recommend first applying a foundation or concealer to neutralize the color, then apply the balm on top.

The cherry-like scent is really pleasant and doesn't feel off-putting at all. It's such a versatile color tint that you'll reach for again and again! The only downside is that when you apply it heavily, it can look a bit too bold and stand out more than you'd like. This lip tint is also great to use as a base when doing your makeup, or you can even use it in place of lip balm for a moisturizing layer.
