I used to get lots of small bumps because I was applying makeup and sunscreen frequently without properly exfoliating. I was hesitant to use exfoliating products or mask-type treatments since I worried they might irritate my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle this Pore Red Tomato Jam Mask Cleanser turned out to be. The texture is genuinely jam-like with a thick gel consistency. When I apply it to my face, it spreads smoothly without any irritation, and the sweet tomato jam scent puts me in a great mood. I used it about 2 to 3 times a week. I'd apply a thin layer to my face before cleansing and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. The dead skin cells and buildup gently dissolve away. After lathering it up and rinsing, my skin feels incredibly smooth and my complexion looks noticeably brighter. Even after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry, which works perfectly for my combination skin type. The small bumps and milia didn't get irritated at all, and the product felt really gentle. Whenever my skin feels congested, using this really seems to clear things up and refresh my complexion! (This review is based on about 2 weeks of actual use!) While it's gentle, the exfoliating power isn't as strong as you might hope. I'd recommend it more as a mild exfoliating treatment rather than something that delivers that squeaky-clean finish. (I had concerns because stronger exfoliating products made my skin red, but this one is so gentle that I'm happy with it. If you're like me and have had issues with harsher exfoliants, I'd definitely recommend this.) I've been using this for about a week now. My skin type is oily, and when I apply it, it feels really hydrating—seriously, it's so moisturizing. It helps slough away dead skin cells beautifully, and best of all, there's no irritation, which I really appreciate. If you use it right after squeezing pimples, it can sting a bit. I'm really happy with this scrub! It's not irritating at all, and my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth after cleansing. The exfoliation works beautifully. The amount is decent, but I feel like I'll go through it pretty quickly. Other than that, everything else is great! It looks like jam, but it has little granules in it that seem to work as an exfoliant too. Even though I have sensitive skin, I love that this product removes dead skin cells while cleansing - it's a real win! I tried all three Pully Pack Cleansers and honestly, they're all fantastic. Using it in the morning gives you an energizing, refreshing boost, while applying it at night helps melt away the day's fatigue and tension. Two products in one: The real star of this formula is that it works as both a cleansing mask and a cleanser at the same time! I simply apply it to my face like a mask before cleansing, wait about 5 minutes, then rinse it away with water. My skin feels noticeably softer and looks so much clearer afterward. I love that I don't need to do a separate mask treatment—it's incredibly convenient and saves so much time. Hydrated and silky-smooth finish: Even after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. Instead, it feels beautifully hydrated and smooth, which I absolutely adore. Particles causing irritation: The cleansing power is great and I loved everything about it, but when rinsing, white and transparent particles got into my eyes and startled me. No matter how much I rinsed my eyes, the irritation persisted, which was really frustrating. I think the product would be so much better if these particles were made smaller and softer. Formula requires thorough rinsing: The texture needs multiple rinses to wash away completely. If I rush through cleansing, residue remains on my skin, so I have to be very careful and thorough—which feels like extra work. Price relative to amount: The bottle size is quite modest, so the price feels a bit steep for the quantity you get. Since it runs out quickly, I felt a little disappointed with the value.
