    I really loved that the gel formula doesn't drip like a typical essence would. It has this squid-like texture that's pretty unique. After application, unlike sheet masks, it doesn't leave excess liquid sitting on your skin. Your complexion feels like it's been smoothed out and blurred in the best way, with this lovely soft, powdery finish. The results actually last until morning, which is impressive.
    Even though I have oily skin, this made my face feel surprisingly dry. Plus, while I was applying it, there was this stinging sensation that really bothered me. I usually don't notice irritation, but this was noticeable. Honestly, I wouldn't repurchase unless it goes on sale, and even then I'm not sure it's worth it. Even at sale prices, I'm just not that convinced.

    I have sensitive, combination skin. Face in Face's After Shower Mask works wonderfully for my skin, and after using it, my skin feels hydrated and looks brighter. That's why I decided to purchase this product with high expectations. Irritation and breakouts: I didn't experience any, and actually, when I refrigerate it before use, it feels refreshing and really soothes my skin. Absorption: The gel melts into the skin and absorbs fairly well. It varies depending on your skin's condition, but I noticed it absorbed incredibly well when I used it after using a high-frequency massage device at home. Hydration: After using this mask, I didn't apply anything else on top. Still, the moisturizing effect lasted for a decent amount of time, which was great. Since it's summer right now, I think that's why. When the weather gets cooler, I'd probably want to apply a light cream on top for extra nourishment. Recommended for: Anyone who needs to calm and soothe their skin should find this works well, regardless of skin type. Price I paid: I got it on sale at Olive Young for about 15,000 won.
    Within the Face in Face line, the After Shower Mask really does seem to deliver the most dramatic results for me. I haven't found anything that performs better than the After Shower Mask. It's not a staple product I repurchase regularly, but it's definitely worth grabbing when it goes on sale.
