It ended up looking a bit too shiny on my skin, and the darkening effect was more intense than I expected. Plus, it blended away faster than I thought and went on thicker than ideal. I usually wear shade 19, but since only shades 17, 21, and 23 were available, I went with 17. Unfortunately, it was way too light and made my face look ashy. Dry skin - Review from fall application Since my face tends to have redness and blemish marks, I prefer a matte cushion with strong coverage even though I have dry skin. After one tap, when I press and blend it out, so much product comes out that it's enough to cover one side of my face. Honestly, even just one tap seems like it would be sufficient! After trying shade 21, I thought going one shade lighter would work, so I switched to shade 17. It gave me a natural brightening effect and was absolutely perfect. I didn't experience any significant dryness, and even as time passed, there was barely any breakdown - it stayed exactly as I applied it, which was amazing! Overall, with just one layer of application and a little concealer to cover any major blemishes, my skin looks absolutely flawless. I'm definitely planning to repurchase this cushion - it's been a while since I found one I love this much! There's really nothing disappointing about it. My oily-skinned friend used it and said her skin looked great right after application, but as time went on, excess oil started building up on her face. This cushion is so forgiving - you can apply it however you want and it still looks great. Seriously, I'm obsessed. The coverage is amazing and it adheres beautifully to the skin. There's nothing major to complain about, but on oily areas it does get a bit shiny. The formula can be a little powdery when you blend it out.

The coverage is really impressive, and most importantly, it makes my skin look absolutely beautiful. The staying power is fantastic too. I got so many compliments about my complexion on the days I wore this. It's also perfect for touch-ups throughout the day. There's a slight darkening effect. But if you apply a tone-correcting base before using it, that issue goes away completely. If you use a light hand and apply it thinly, it looks stunning. This worked perfectly for my oily skin! No breakouts at all, and I'm so happy about it. This is definitely a keeper for my routine. I found it way too drying, even though I have oily skin. Really disappointed with this one.
