Mid-30s / Dry and easily rough-textured skin / Based on the night before an important event I don't use this daily, but whenever I have a really important occasion coming up, I always reach for this mask the night before instead of a sheet mask. After showering, I spread it thinly across my entire face with a silicone brush (or my hands), and after cleansing, my skin texture becomes incredibly smooth—it's basically a cheat code that makes my makeup apply flawlessly the next day. Especially since it smooths out both dead skin and pores at the same time, whenever I think "my makeup needs to look absolutely perfect tomorrow!" this mask is always my first step. It's honestly a game-changer for prepping my skin before big moments. While it does leave skin beautifully refined, the hydration level is relatively modest, so on days when my skin is feeling extra dry, I make sure to layer a hydrating cream or sleeping mask on top as well. After the blackhead pore mask cleared out those stubborn blackheads, I used this mask to refine and tighten my pores, then followed up with a toner pad for extra care. What I really loved is that the mask itself isn't heavy at all, so it feels comfortable on the skin. I expected it to have a rich, earthy scent, but surprisingly it smells more like yogurt - it's actually quite pleasant! It doesn't give that super refreshing sensation I was hoping for. That said, it's perfect for a gentle, everyday treatment routine. I tried this peeling gel for facial exfoliation, but it felt a bit too harsh for my skin. During the mask treatment, I noticed some mild redness, probably from the active ingredients! However, the redness didn't cause any stinging or itching. After rinsing the mask off with water, my skin feels noticeably smoother and softer. My makeup applies beautifully on top of it too! The mild redness is something to note, but it doesn't feel irritating or aggressive. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any redness or itching after using the mask. After using this, you'll notice a real difference in how smooth and soft your skin feels. The scent is lovely too, which makes the whole experience so enjoyable. The only downside is really the price. You don't get a lot of product for what you're paying, which is a bit disappointing.
