The pink tone is stronger than I expected, but once I apply it, my complexion looks radiant and fresh without appearing overly red. It spreads smoothly and applies beautifully in thin layers. This product doesn't play well with certain sunscreens, causing significant pilling and separation. When I layer cushion or foundation on top after applying this, the pilling gets even worse. My skin type: extremely oily, I can't imagine finishing my makeup without powder, and if I slack off even a little on skincare, I get folliculitis - basically I have super sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts. What is this?... Now that I'm getting older, even that Clio cushion I used to love feels way too heavy on my skin. And honestly, this weather lately is absolutely brutal. I was hunting for tone-up sunscreen and tone-up cushions when I discovered this Hera blur cushion 00p1 from last summer. I did some research and it seemed pretty decent, but I was skeptical because the product itself is this completely blush-like pink color that clashes with my warm undertone. Still, I decided to take the plunge. I did my usual skincare routine, used only this tone-up cushion as my base, and finished with powder. When I went outside in that sweltering 37-degree heat, my skin felt so dry and tight - like there wasn't a drop of oil on it. The next day was just as scorching, and I thought, "You know what, if this falls apart, I'll just accept it and move on." So I decided to experiment and skip the powder entirely. And guess what?... No excess oil, no breakdown, and my skin looked beautifully dewy. Compared to when I used my regular foundation or cushion, this is incredibly lightweight, lasts all day long, and while it seems a bit too bright at first, after a little while it blends into my skin and keeps looking fresh and radiant. If you have oily skin, I really think you should give this a try! I still can't believe how well it works. Since I have oily and sensitive skin, I've always avoided stearic acid, but even though I haven't had major breakouts with this product, there's definitely something that feels off. My skin is prone to folliculitis, and I'm getting this itchy, uncomfortable feeling around my brow area. Also, the color payoff is pretty strong, so if you apply too much, you end up looking like a pink person. Even though I'm a warm undertone, the base has this pinkish tone, so I end up doing makeup in a pink shade that I don't really love. I wish they'd release a beige version for warm undertones too. (+Additional) When I use this product, my whole face gets this blotchy, uneven appearance - it almost looks like folliculitis breaking out. I think stearic acid is the culprit. This frustrating skin of mine.... I thought I'd finally found my holy grail product, but apparently not. Even with a generous application, it goes on thin and looks great! Make sure you've done your skincare routine and taken care of any texture issues, because if you don't, you'll see flaking, visible pores, and patchiness. Honestly, when I first tried it, I thought it wasn't for me because my skin wasn't ready.
