For me, it felt more focused on its clarifying function rather than balancing my skin. You really need to pair it with richer products like creams or oils to make it work. For oily skin types: toner, clarifying treatment, then toner again. For combination to dry skin types: toner, clarifying treatment, then follow with a cream or oil-based product. I'd recommend trying whichever routine matches your skin best.
