The staying power is absolutely amazing! It's so useful as an under-base product. I don't really have any downsides to mention yet. I'm still getting to know it, so I can't say for sure, but so far so good!

The brush is incredibly thin and compact, making it so easy to apply to my lower lash line. Because of this, my lashes don't clump together and each individual lash applies cleanly and precisely. It gives a natural, everyday look that's perfect for daily wear, and it barely smudges, so I didn't worry about it during the summer heat. The curl hold is solid too, so my lashes stayed defined and in place all day long without needing a separate setting product. The compact size and lightweight design make it convenient to toss in my makeup bag, and it's perfect for travel. There's basically no volume to speak of, and when I apply it just once, it's barely visible on my lashes, so I need to apply it two or three times for it to show up. It's a bit tricky to control the amount when applying to my upper lashes, so I find it works best as an under-lash product only. If I curl my lashes with an eyelash curler first and then use this product just on my lower lashes, my eyes definitely look more defined and awake. When I pair a volumizing mascara on my upper lashes with this product on my lower lashes, there's no smudging and the combination is perfect. My lashes tend to smudge and droop easily, and whenever I apply anything, they clump together and look artificial, so I rarely wear mascara. But this one is different! After curling with my lash curler and applying this mascara, my lashes stay lifted all day with zero smudging or flaking. By my standards, it's absolutely perfect. After I put on this mascara, my daughter even asked if I'd gotten a lash perm! I have thin lashes, so whenever I used a thick brush mascara, it would always clump and be hard to define. But this one has a thin brush, so I can apply it multiple times and still get a clear, separated look without clumping. It applies so cleanly and I absolutely love it. It sets slowly, which is nice for blending while applying, but since the formula takes a while to lock in place, I need to let it dry for about 30 seconds after application and keep my eyes wide open. Otherwise, it smudges right away. I was torn between this and the nude mascara, but between the skinny line options, these two are definitely the top picks.
