    The texture is slightly gel-like, but it's almost as lightweight as a watery formula. It glides onto skin incredibly smoothly with a hydrating feel, though it takes a bit of time to fully absorb. After application, your skin feels refreshed and cool within minutes. It spreads smoothly with that hydrating sensation and finishes with a slightly tacky feel. I think the sticky finish is just part of the formula's nature—aloe gel products tend to have that same finish too. Once applied, your skin feels calmed and appears brighter. I'm guessing that's thanks to the hydration and cooling effect. The ingredients are really impressive. I love that this product contains exactly the good ingredients I'm looking for without unnecessary fillers, and I appreciate that it doesn't have a long ingredient list like I usually dislike. It feels like using a dermatologist-grade skincare product, so I only reach for this when my skin is at its most sensitive.
    If this doesn't play well with your toner, you might see bubbling on your face after application. If you're someone who dislikes sticky textures, I'd skip this one. Whether it's the aloe ingredient or something else, this product is quite tacky. Plus, it's pricey.
    I use this product when my skin is extremely sensitive and I can't tolerate any other skincare products.

    I have sensitive, dehydrated skin that's prone to breakouts, so if I can avoid irritation, that's already a win for me. I thought breakouts would naturally decrease with age, but that hasn't been the case. This serum has a hyaluronic acid-like texture that's smooth and slightly tacky without any oiliness. I've found that formulas without that greasy feel tend to be gentler on troubled skin. It delivers a refreshing, hydrating sensation without causing any irritation. While it doesn't feel like moisture is completely saturating my skin, it's definitely enough to keep me satisfied during the summer months. I tested the smaller size first and was so happy with it that I bought two full-size bottles. I'm planning to apply it generously, and I think this serum combined with my C serum will get me through the summer beautifully.
    I can't really say there's anything majorly disappointing about it. While it doesn't provide the level of hydration needed to tackle deep internal dryness, I'm still satisfied enough to keep using it.
