I bought this with my own money, and I have to say I'm really impressed. My skin tends to run hot and I get a lot of dark spots and discoloration, but since I started using this product, I've noticed they're not popping up as much. My complexion looks so much brighter and clearer now, and when it comes to fading those stubborn spots, this is honestly the best thing I've found. This is actually my second purchase! It has amazing oil control and I really think it's the best product out there for reducing the appearance of dark spots and blemishes. It doesn't completely tackle deep-set dark spots. If you use it alone, it can feel a bit drying on the skin. Other than that, I didn't really notice any other downsides. The essence really sinks into my skin beautifully. I noticed my complexion looked brighter and more radiant, and the scent is absolutely lovely. I can't really think of any downsides. The formula is so gentle that even my sensitive skin doesn't feel any irritation when I apply it I wish they offered larger sizes. The 30ml bottle just doesn't last long enough for regular use
