This powder foundation is perfect for everyday use! It lasts a long time without darkening, and when I apply it, my skin gets this beautiful luminous glow that really makes my complexion look radiant. The coverage isn't quite as full as a liquid foundation since it's a powder, but that's honestly a minor trade-off. I noticed some patchiness and slight separation when blending. The shade is so natural-looking that it might read a bit darker than expected on some skin tones.

But now I've realized that a luminous, healthy-looking complexion is so much more beautiful, even if a few texture shows through. It's funny how in your twenties you're buying color cosmetics like your life depends on it, but by your forties you're all about investing in quality skincare. Finally makes sense! Key highlights: ✓ The finish is absolutely gorgeous with a natural glow, and there's zero oxidation or darkening like you get with some BB creams. Even when it wears throughout the day, it breaks down beautifully. ✓ Because it doesn't dry out your skin, your pores stay invisible and blurred. ✓ The shade is so versatile that it works across different undertones, which is pretty amazing for a single color formula. The fragrance isn't doing it for me. I wish this came unscented. Most Laviane products have fragrance, and some are pretty strong. The volumizing essence and the cicica hydrating cream from their Kombu line both have noticeable scents that are a bit much for me. It's a shame because the formula quality is genuinely excellent, but the fragrance is the one thing holding me back from loving it completely. Honestly, there's nothing particularly special about it. When you consider the price, there are definitely products out there that offer much better value for your money. The coverage is disappointingly weak, and on top of that, it dries out my skin shortly after application. I bought it because it's supposed to have a high essence content, but I'm really let down. Pros: Hydrating, coverage, gentle formula Cons: Creasing, lifting, longevity I'd never tried a BB cream before, so I was curious and decided to give it a shot. It's definitely more moisturizing than my cushion, which made it perfect for my dry skin as a cushion alternative. -Hydrating Since I haven't tried other BB creams, I can't say if this is particularly hydrating compared to other options, but it's noticeably more moisturizing than my cushion. It's great for light makeup days when I want something effortless. If you're like me and have only used cushions before, or if you have dry skin, I'd recommend giving this a try. -Coverage I wasn't expecting much coverage since it feels hydrating and gives a brightening effect, but it actually performed better than I anticipated. It does a nice job of neutralizing redness, though it doesn't completely cover small blemishes. Just keep in mind that the coverage isn't as strong as a cushion! -Gentle Formula Because it applies like a lightweight cream, it feels less irritating on my skin compared to a cushion and doesn't clog my pores. I really appreciated that. -Creasing It does crease around the nose area and tends to shift quite a bit, which was disappointing. It has that same white cast feeling as a heavy sunscreen. If you're sensitive to these issues, I wouldn't recommend this. -Lifting and Poor Longevity It absolutely doesn't survive under a mask (even with a setting spray), and after 4 hours or more, it starts to lift and separate. The staying power just isn't there. Would I repurchase? No. I'm satisfied that I discovered BB creams are great for lightweight wear, but I'd like to explore other products. Best for: Dry skin, when you want a natural look without heavy makeup, can be used like a sunscreen
