My hair is extremely frizzy with a dry scalp, breaks easily, and stays frizzy even after straightening treatments. But when I use this, it creates the perfect amount of beautiful volume while smoothing out my hair. It's honestly so good for frizz that I'm surprised it's not more popular... Even just rinsing after shampooing makes my hair feel like it's been through a flat iron (when using the matching shampoo). Sure, after a while it does get a bit drier and loses some softness, but it's way less noticeable than with other conditioners. Plus, since it's silicone-free, it feels like it provides heat protection! Even when I blow dry, my hair dries with moisture instead of feeling parched, and I think that's why it works so well for frizz. Another thing - you only need a tiny amount and your hair becomes surprisingly soft. As long as you use the right amount, it never feels heavy! To sum it up, this conditioner really delivers on its promises. If you're torn between brands like American Cream, other popular options, and this one, choosing this would be a great call. It has an organic scent that's almost unscented, so it doesn't feel overwhelming. I'm planning to repurchase when I run out. It does a good job taming individual strands and dryness, but it doesn't control frizz or waviness. If you have frizz, keep that in mind. Also, I think the price is quite steep. My hair reaches down to my chest and it's on the thicker side. I tried the sample first and loved it so much that I'm now using the full-size bottle! I can really feel how even a small amount calms and smooths my hair. Plus, the scent lingers beautifully even after I shower! I personally love how this product tames and settles my hair, so I keep using it. That said, it does have a slightly rich, heavier feel to it. It's just your average treatment, nothing special. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it does the job well enough. When I use this, my hair smells strongly of mugwort. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me they actually made it from mugwort. If I use it with the wasabi shampoo, the lingering scent becomes more tolerable.
