This lukewarm pink shade is absolutely lovely to apply. The color feels so luxurious and refined, and the formula glides on beautifully with such a smooth, effortless application. It applies with such a smooth, powdery finish! True to its name, it feels just like powder, and I love that it's matte without being overly drying. The color is a natural pink shade that looks really flattering too! If you have any dry patches or flaking, they become really noticeable with this product. Even when I apply it carefully, the product tends to cling heavily to those areas, so you really need to exfoliate well beforehand and apply it with a light hand. I've found that dabbing and pressing the product on with your fingertips gives a much more natural and beautiful finish compared to sweeping motions.

It has a matte finish, but it's not overly drying like some crayon lipsticks can be. Instead, it applies with this beautiful powdery, feathery texture that feels smooth and comfortable on the lips. The staying power is fantastic too! The color is this gorgeous shade between pink and coral - kind of like a soft, delicate rhododendron pink. I picked it up after seeing it recommended on YouTube for deep undertones with lighter skin, and I'm so glad I did! Honestly, before I discovered my undertone, I was stuck wearing only deep, intense lip colors like Chili. Switching to lighter shades felt weird at first, but now I'm obsessed because they make my whole face look so much softer and more approachable! There are so many great-gliding lip products out there these days, but this one feels pretty dry on me. This works wonderfully as a base lip product. The color turned out to be more of an MLBB shade than I expected. The color is absolutely perfect for spring with that vibrant, bouncy coral pink shade. If you have deep undertones, I seriously can't recommend this enough! The scent is a sweet chocolate fragrance that's really lovely. It's ideal to use as a base product. The formula does emphasize dry patches a bit. And honestly, I'm a shade 23-24, but the lip color is way too bright for my skin tone. It just sits on my lips without blending in. For deeper skin tones, you can really only use this as a base layer, which is frustrating. Since the formula has a matte finish, you'll want to exfoliate your lips before applying it so it goes on smoothly and looks beautiful. The application feels wonderfully smooth and powdery, which I absolutely love. The color is grapefruit pink—unique enough to feel special, yet wearable enough that it's easy to experiment with. The saturation isn't overly intense, so it works beautifully as a base lip or as a statement lip. No matter what I layer on top, it doesn't shift or get patchy, which is fantastic. When I apply it to dry lips, the inner areas don't get covered evenly. Plus, when I wear it alone and leave it as is, my lips feel a bit parched during winter, which is disappointing. Before bed, I apply a generous layer of lip balm or lip mask and sleep with it on. Then during my makeup routine, I apply another lip balm and gently wipe it away with a tissue before applying this product—it pairs beautifully with glossy lip products. When I create a gradient effect and tap a tiny bit of lip plumper on the inner lip, I can achieve a natural, glossy finish that's absolutely stunning.

With its deep undertone, it's perfect for everyday wear, and even those with light undertones can use it without hesitation. The staying power and color payoff are classic MAC quality—not overdone, not underwhelming, just reliably doing what it's supposed to do. The color and staying power are both spot-on! Here's my review of shade 21 with deep undertone in light tone! ✓Color The color appears brighter when applied than it looks in the tube. It has this amazing quality of naturally enhancing your lip color itself! The photos came out a bit darker than reality. On my lips, it applied much more naturally than I expected. I think it would work beautifully as a base lip product too! ✓Staying Power I found the adhesion to be really impressive. My lips tend to be on the dry side, but this formula stuck around beautifully throughout the day. ✓Application My lips aren't in the best condition and I have quite a few fine lines, so most matte lipsticks don't apply smoothly and feel uncomfortable. But with this powder kiss formula, I just tap it on gently and blend it along the natural lines of my lips, and it works wonderfully! Even after application, my lips didn't feel overly dry. It just feels soft and velvety! If you press too hard while applying, you might actually shift the skin on your lips a bit. When I tap it on and blend it out, then apply it to the inner lip area, I get this perfect finished look where my lips appear naturally beautiful without looking like I'm wearing much at all! I heard that Sheer Out Loud is basically MAC's Sheer formula remade in this powder kiss texture. Compared to the original Sheer line, this version gives more color payoff on the lips and has a slightly brighter finish with a subtle white cast.
