The color is absolutely gorgeous and it has this lovely chocolate scent. It looks great even without any base or primer! I've been using Stay Curious Color and I have to say, I'm really impressed! It's supposed to be the Powder Kiss line version of C-Sheer, but on my lips it comes out richer and more saturated than C-Sheer, which honestly works better for me. C-Sheer felt too close to my natural lip color, you know? The formula has this lovely powdery, matte finish, and when I apply a lip balm first, it glides on so smoothly and feels incredibly soft. The matte black case is pretty gorgeous too. If your lips aren't in great condition, the color won't apply evenly. And honestly, the thing that really gets me is how the price of MAC lipsticks keeps climbing higher and higher. If you have deep undertones, I absolutely recommend this! It looks beautiful on its own, and it becomes even more gorgeous when you layer a glossy tint on top! Since the Powder Kiss line itself has a matte finish, if your lips tend to be dry, it's a good idea to moisturize them first before applying it. Apply Stay Curious and layer it with Lacquer Peach for a dewy, gorgeous finish. Everyone says this is a cool-toned lipstick, but it feels quite warm on me. That said, the texture is absolutely lovely! You really need to exfoliate and prep your lips well before applying this. The color payoff is so vibrant and gorgeous! I'd definitely recommend this for cool winter undertones. The staying power could be better, which is a bit disappointing. Other than the longevity, I'm really happy with everything else about it.
