I received this product as a gift back in 2019, and I absolutely love the color! The shade is so beautiful and I'd definitely recommend it for cool undertones. Unfortunately, the application isn't smooth at all. It tends to emphasize dry patches and flaking, which is really disappointing. It applies much better when you layer it over a lip gloss.

Since this is a matte lipstick, it can feel a bit dry, so you'll want to use a lip balm before applying it. There are no discounts available, and the price point is on the higher side. MAC lipstick delivers solid performance. That said, for deeper winter tones, it reads quite bright and sheer. In the second photo, the bottom swatch is All Fired Up, which has a distinctly cool undertone—I'd say it's pretty cool-toned overall. If you have cool undertones, I'd actually recommend applying it over a lip balm to keep it more subtle and wearable. For deep winter shades, this lipstick feels way too bright and thin. You really need to apply it heavily to get any depth, but even then, if you have deeper winter undertones, the color fades so easily it looks like bare lips.
