This is absolutely perfect for deep undertones! It works especially beautifully with muted, low-saturation makeup looks. I'm really not a fan of anything too matte, and this one applies with just the right amount of moisture without being overly matte. I find myself reaching for it all the time because I genuinely love it. The perfect dried rose shade. This is a no-fuss everyday color that doesn't stand out, making it ideal for those with neutral undertones. There's nothing really disappointing about it. I just wish the price point were a bit more affordable. The staying power is impressive and the color is absolutely beautiful. It applies so smoothly even when I wear it bare-lipped without any base. It smudges really easily with just the slightest touch. Even after I've had it on for a while, it still transfers if anything brushes against my lips.

I usually prefer matte finishes, but MAC's matte lipstick takes dryness to another level—it's almost uncomfortably parched. Even this satin version feels slightly dry underneath, landing somewhere between satin and semi-matte. Honestly, I can't think of a single thing I'd change about it! My lips are naturally quite pale, so I always start by applying a tint to build a subtle base color first. Then when I layer this lipstick on top, it looks absolutely stunning. I usually use Tonymoly Tint No. 7 Oh My Rose as my base, and this combination is just perfection for me.

I was trying the satin finish for the first time with this mocha shade, and I loved how it delivers that "matte but moisturized" feel without being overly dry. The formula strikes that perfect balance between a semi-matte texture and hydration. I'd recommend pairing this with warmer, brick-toned shades like chili or orange-red for a stunning combination that really makes the colors pop together. The color does lean a bit muted, and with my deep undertone and warm complexion, wearing it solo made my look feel a little flat and uninspired. Otherwise, it's a solid shade.

It applies so smoothly and the pigmentation is fantastic. Since it's not a matte formula, my lips stay hydrated and comfortable. It's a my-lips-but-better shade with a deeper tone that really works beautifully with my natural nude brown makeup look. It felt a bit sticky on me. It's neither lightweight nor moisturizing, which left me disappointed.
