Oily, rosacea-prone, seborrheic dermatitis, folliculitis-prone skin No matter how lightweight, whenever I use liquid or cream foundations, my skin gets irritated and something flares up the next day. Because of the excess oil, I can barely wear foundation without it getting noticeably darker (even with blotting papers and powder, my face looks ashy within 2 hours...). But this powder compact? It's been a total game-changer for me. When I first apply it, I think it might feel a bit dry and tight, but as I go about my day and natural oils come through, my face looks radiant and dewy without any shine. It's exactly what I needed. My skin is sensitive and reacts to all kinds of cleansers—oils, balms, milks, gels, micellar waters, you name it. But this compact removes so cleanly with just one wash using a gentle acidic cleanser, leaving no residue. I'm really impressed. I'm actually planning to buy shades 1N00 or 1N03 as an extra to use as a highlighter. The coverage feels pretty minimal, so I mostly use it as a tone-up product. When I apply it thicker, my pores become really noticeable and it looks cakey. My nose and the area between my nose and upper lip tend to get sweaty, and the product wears off immediately in those spots. It's not very water-resistant. For a shade 21, it runs quite dark, so I'd really recommend testing it first before you buy. If you're like me and find that cleansers irritate your skin more than the actual makeup products, definitely try this compact along with a botanical therapy washable sun pact. This is genuinely the best foundation for oily skin! I've been using it since my twenties, and honestly, it works beautifully through all four seasons. Even in summer when oils start to build up, my skin actually looks amazing and never feels heavy or suffocating. The included puff is pretty disappointing, so I only use it when I want full coverage like I'm applying concealer. The coverage, lasting power, color, and finish were all excellent. It applies smoothly and evenly, even when I use a powder brush. I love the matte finish it gives, and it doesn't feel dry or chalky at all. The puff clumps up quickly, so I've switched to using a brush to apply it instead.

I wish it were just a shade lighter, but honestly, even without touch-ups throughout the day, it blends seamlessly with my skin's natural oils and creates such a beautiful finish. If you struggle with a shiny, dewy look when using cushion foundations, I'd definitely recommend this one. For reference, I have naturally oily skin and even the Clio Fix Cushion tends to look a bit too glossy on me. The built-in puff isn't great. I'd suggest using a regular powder brush instead. For a shade 21, the color runs a bit too dark. I'm hesitant to go with 1N00 because I'm worried it might look too light and patchy, so I'm sticking with this one for now. I use a regular powder brush instead of the jumbo finger brush. When I do that, the application is incredibly smooth and thin—it goes on beautifully.
