You get that lovely calendula scent with just a whisper of coconut - and here's what I love: there are no fragrance ingredients added, which is a real plus. It glides on smoothly and keeps your skin feeling hydrated all day long. Even though it's a balm, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. I should mention that my skin is on the dry side and tends to drink up oils really well. I applied a gentle toner two or three times first, then used just a little of this balm, and my skin stayed dewy and looked noticeably better throughout the day. With all the pollution lately, my face gets irritated from wearing masks constantly, and this really seemed to calm things down. It's perfect for targeting dry patches, and it also works wonderfully mixed into an emulsion. The formula looks genuinely impressive when you check the ingredients - it's organic and everything seems great. But I'm genuinely puzzled about why certain ingredients are included. What purpose do gold and silver serve beyond just adding color? I'm asking out of real curiosity, not as a criticism. I understand that small amounts in adult skincare products aren't typically a concern, but here's my thing: this product is marketed as a baby balm and is designed for babies to use too. Given that, I can't help but wonder if these two ingredients were really necessary to include.
