When I apply this to my atopic skin, it really helps calm things down. It has this herbal scent that I absolutely love, so that was a nice bonus. The lightweight, water-like texture makes it so easy to spread and apply evenly. Here's the tricky part though - because the formula is so fluid and water-like, it tends to drip and spill on the floor pretty often, which feels wasteful. The bottle comes with a small cap to prevent leaking, but I kept wondering whether I should leave it on all the time or remove it each time I use it. It's a bit confusing. I'm not sure if it's because of the ingredients, but the price feels quite steep for what you get. Honestly, I find myself being extra careful not to waste it because of the cost, which takes away from the experience a bit. I noticed it works even better when I layer it with a cream on top. Applying the essence a couple of extra times really made a difference too. - so******Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa mụn10/05/2021 (UTC+0)
After using it, my skin didn't feel tight or uncomfortable. I've never experienced my skin breaking out this badly in my entire life. It stings immediately when I use it. I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis at the dermatology clinic. The first photo is from about two weeks of using the product, and the second photo is from the day right after I stopped using it. As you can see, my skin improved significantly in just one day of not using it. My skin is reacting abnormally with severe breakouts. I'm getting large, hard pimples that won't pop, and smaller blemishes that feel inflamed and weepy when squeezed. My skin around my eyes is naturally thin, so it usually doesn't break out unless there's a serious cosmetic reaction, but even my eye area developed blemishes. I bought this based on Naver reviews, and I feel completely deceived. Plus, it's expensive. Getting a refund here is incredibly difficult. I'm writing this to help others. 1. The seller claimed it was a "purging phase" and told me to use it for another week There is no such thing as a purging phase with cosmetics. The Korean FDA has even issued a notice stating that purging doesn't occur with skincare products. What traditional medicine calls a "purging phase" refers to a cause-and-effect relationship where symptoms improve after an initial reaction, like vomiting after overeating and then feeling better. New breakouts appearing is not a purging phase. (Search "cosmetic purging phase" on YouTube for reference) I sent the seller photos identical to theirs (both the after-use and post-discontinuation photos), but they insisted it was a purging phase. When I asked if I needed a dermatologist's diagnosis, they said Western medicine would call it a skin reaction and told me to use it for another week. 2. I shipped the return on 4/30, but they didn't process the refund until 5/7 When they didn't refund by 5/7, I asked via message if they weren't going to process it. They read the message but didn't reply. When I said I'd report them to the Consumer Agency around 2 PM on 5/10, they processed the refund in less than 5 minutes. And as shown in the screenshot, anyone who's shopped online knows that most companies process refunds within 2-3 days of receiving a return. But they ignored it for a week and only processed it immediately when the consumer threatened to report them to the Consumer Agency? You can judge for yourselves. 3. The seller tried to make the buyer pay for return shipping due to cosmetic damage Return shipping costs for cosmetic reactions are "the seller's responsibility." I've mentioned this in other reviews, but it's clearly stated in e-commerce protection guidelines that shipping costs for cosmetic damage are the seller's responsibility. A medical certificate is nice to have but not required—any evidence showing causation is sufficient. Furthermore, if causation is proven through a medical certificate, both the diagnostic fee and treatment costs are "the seller's responsibility." Please note this carefully. I'm writing this because several sellers, including this one, have been trying to pass these costs onto consumers.
