I loved that it doesn't have an artificial fragrance! Plus, since it's pH-balanced for a healthy scalp, I really appreciated that extra care. The scent is subtle and pleasant, though I'm not entirely sure how long it lasts. What really stands out is that it's pH-balanced, and for a shampoo, the ingredient quality is impressive. Since I have sensitive skin, I was thrilled that I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts during my three years of using it consistently. Plus, you only need a small amount to get a nice, satisfying lather. I've purchased this many times, but I've frequently encountered issues with the pump dispenser not working smoothly when opening a new bottle. There have been several instances where I wondered if the product was defective because the pump was difficult to operate right out of the box.

1 The fragrance is absolutely lovely I bought this specifically for the scent, and honestly, every time I use it, the wonderful aroma just lifts my mood 2 The formula is really solid I've always used weakly acidic cleansers, and since this one is also formulated to be weakly acidic, I've noticed fewer scalp irritations and breakouts 1 It doesn't feel refreshing enough My previous product had a higher menthol content, so switching to this one left my scalp feeling less cool and invigorated. There's this annoying, uncomfortable sensation that I can't quite put my finger on
